In 2017 Maggie and her late husband Coach Robin Kirk (retired Houston Police Officer) decided to start a cleaning company to fund young athletes through this small cleaning business. Coach Kirk and Maggie hosted many football players to lead them into college and play college football and some even in the NFL. These young men needed money for daily expenses like food, cleats, bus fare, and clothes for school. We incorporated teaching them work ethic on and off the field.
In 2019 Maggie's late husband, Coach Kirk passed to be with the Lord and Maggie decided to continue what they started.
In continuous of the business, Maggie met Monty Montgomery, another HPD officer and Chaplain for the Houston Police Department and they decided to partner together and add Happy Chappy Cleaning Co. The business has plans to grow and continue to create some scholarship funding for football players at St. Pius X High School in honor of Coach Kirk. St. Pius X in Houston was Coach Kirk's alma matter and won many State Championships as a player and a Coach. There is a great legacy for education and sports combined. Teaching young people to be great citizens and give back.
Maggie has one daughter Samantha, and twin granddaughters Adelina and Isabella and is her pride and joy and hopes to still create that legacy for her family and remember their late grandpa they didn't get to meet but will surely hear about him. Thankfully, Monty has been a great role model for her granddaughters and greater things to come.
